We’ve compiled a list of the shopping hubs of the city and can’t miss stores for your next credit card bender.

Kuhl-Linscomb

If you visit only one store while in Houston, this is it. Kuhl-Linscomb describes itself as a ‘lifestyle emporium’—that roughly translates into more than 100,000 square feet of shopping paradise. It’s a delightful maze of apothecary, cosmetics, children’s toys, lighting, rugs, books, jewelry, candles, and more. One step in the store and you’ll see why it’s impossible to leave in under an hour (and without a treasure or two). Kuhl-Linscomb has a firm handle on everything that’s cool in interior design, beauty and lifestyle.

River Oaks District

River Oaks Houston

Feeling fancy? This high priced shopping district is full of high end designers, well-manicured landscaping, restaurants, and a theater. The well-heeled enjoy the likes of Hermes and Harry Winston, and dine on a variety of high end restaurants like Le Colonial and Steak 48. The people watching is always a treat at this outdoor mall, even if you can’t afford most of the stores.

You can’t live in Texas and not have a pair of boots, so you might as well make them some of the finest in the land. From high end leather to an array of exotic skins, Lucchese is a legend in cowboy wear. Its flagship store in Highland Village is a must-shop for additions to your western wardrobe.

The Galleria

The Galleria Houston

So much more than just a mall, this 2.4 million square foot development houses 30 restaurants, two hotels, an ice skating rink, and over 350 stores. High end department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstroms anchor the mall, and other designer standouts like Louis Vuitton and Dior compliment the upscale selection. The mall is an international shopping destination that attracts over 24 million visitors each year and is the unofficial style capital of Houston. With so many shops and restaurants, come with a plan and consult the map to navigate your journey.

Biscuit

Biscuit Houston

You may recognize one of the most Instagrammed walls in town before you realize it’s the popular homegoods store Biscuit. In the heart of Montrose lies a high end interior design showroom dedicated to fun prints for bedding, linens, tableware, and an array of knick knacks and gifts. Biscuit is a great stop as you stroll up and down Montrose on a lazy Saturday.
