The Cheapest & Most Expensive Minneapolis Neighborhoods For Renters (March 2016)

Minneapolis maintained position as the 18th most expensive rental market in the nation last month. One bedroom units were up 2.6% to a median of $1,170, while two bedrooms also increased 4.3% to $1,440. This city came ahead of Austin, Dallas, and Charlotte in our most recent list of rent prices across the United States.

At a neighborhood level, the priciest rental hoods in Minneapolis hovered around the $1,600-$1,700 threshold. These areas included Downtown East ($1,690), Uptown ($1,650), and Warehouse District ($1,600). More affordable finds priced under $1,000 could be found in University, Phillips, and to the west of Lowry Hill.
