The Cheapest And Most Expensive Portland Neighborhoods To Rent This Summer

Portland rent prices saw a strong appreciation across all bedroom types this July, as the city remained the thirteenth most expensive rental market in the country. One bedrooms saw an increase of 3.9% in the month to a median of $1,330, while two bedrooms similarly jumped 3.3% to $1,550. Such movements have placed the city ahead of Atlanta, Denver, and Dallas on our list of rent prices across the 50 largest cities in the United States.
Portland-Summer-2015At a neighborhood level, the priciest areas to rent this summer continued to be centered around the Pearl District ($2,050), Downtown Portland ($1,500), and Old Town – Chinatown ($1,500). More affordable areas were found to the northeast and southeast of downtown, with median one bedroom prices in the high $900’s to low $1,000’s.
