The Most Popular Apartment Unit Types

Producing 32% of inquiries this month, two bedroom units commanded interest with a median inquiry price of $715. Close behind, one bedroom units were the next most in demand, generating 29% of inquiries at a median of $625. Three bedroom units followed that with 24% of inquiries at $800.
In the single digit inquiry percentages, studio and four bedroom units had the least amount of renter interest. Studios produced 9% of inquiries at a median of $550 while four bedroom units generated 6% at $895.
Méthodologie
The Zumper Neighborhood Demand Report analyzes every call and email sent in a month to determine renter interest. Neighborhoods are ranked by total inquiries generated to determine the top 10 most in demand areas. Inquiries are also separated into bedroom type, along with each corresponding median inquiry price, to provide the most in-demand bedroom units and prices.
