The Zumper Tampa Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in September 2019 across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Florida one bedroom median rent was $1,212 last month.

–Sarasota was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,310.
–North Port rent dropped 1.6% last month to $1,240 and ranked as the second priciest city.
–Dunedin was third with rent priced at $1,210.

–Winter Haven and Lakeland ranked as the most affordable cities with one bedrooms priced at $790.
–Largo was second with rent at $980.
–Bradenton ranked as third with rent staying flat at $1,080.

–North Port had the fastest growing rent, up 9.7% since this time last year.
–Largo saw rent climb 8.9%, making it the second fastest growing.
–Bradenton was third with rent growing 5.9%.
