The Zumper Tampa Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in October 2019 across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Florida one bedroom median rent was $1,214 last month.

–Sarasota was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,300.
–Venice rent jumped 5% last month to $1,250 and ranked as the second priciest city.
–North Point was third with rent priced at $1,240.

–Winter Haven and Lakeland ranked as the most affordable cities with one bedrooms both priced at $830.
–Largo was second with rent at $950.
–Bradenton ranked as third with rent down 1.9% $1,060.

–Largo had the fastest growing rent, up 8% since this time last year.
–North Port saw rent climb 6.9%, making it the second fastest growing.
–St. Petersburg was third with rent growing 5.8%.

–Winter Haven and Lakeland rent both jumped 5.5% last month, making them tied for the second fastest growing.
