The Zumper Tampa Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in December 2019 across 10 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Florida one bedroom median rent was $1,193 last month.

–Venice was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,310.
–Dunedin saw rent grow 4.9% to $1,290 and become the second priciest city.
–Sarasota ranked as third with rent at $1,260.

–Winter Haven remained the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $820.
–Lakeland was second, though rent dropped 4.6% to $830.
–Largo ranked as third with rent staying flat at $1,010.

–Bradenton saw rent climb 3.9%, making it the second fastest growing.
–Largo was third with rent increasing 3.3%.
