See Which Seattle Neighborhoods You Can Afford This Winter

With rent prices for both one and two bedrooms fairly stable last month, Seattle remained the 10th most expensive rental market in the country. Prices for one bedroom apartments dropped 3% in December to $1,600, while two bedrooms increased a slight 1.3% to $2,280.

Priced at $2,000 and above, the most expensive Seattle neighborhoods include the Central Business District ($2,180), Belltown ($2,150), and Pike Place Market ($2,000). Other notably pricy neighborhoods are Broadway, the area around Westlake, and Leschi. If you’re looking for more affordable finds less than $1,350, look towards Mann, Madrona, and Harrison.
