This May, Minneapolis was the fifteenth most expensive rental market in the country, placing ahead of Atlanta, Long Beach, and Baltimore. Despite a dip in rents for both one and two bedrooms in the past quarter (median of $1,220 and $1,530, respectively), the city maintained its place on our list of rent prices across the 50 largest US cities.
Looking closer, the most expensive areas for a one bedroom were centered around Downtown East ($1,800), Warehouse District ($1,650), and Uptown ($1,640). More affordable areas included Hawthorne ($710), Lauderdale ($740), and Como ($720).
