Seattle Rent Prices Mapped This Winter (February 2017)

Seattle was the 10th most expensive city to rent this month, with the price of one bedroom units settling at a median of $1,790 and two bedroom units at $2,470. Although rents were fairly stable over this time period, the price of one bedroom units is up over 8% since this time last year.

Seaview and International District had some of the fastest growing rents, both up over 10% since last quarter.

At a median of $2,370 a month for one bedroom units, Central Business District was the most expensive neighborhood to rent in this winter. Pike Place Market ($2,180), Belltown ($2,000), and Pioneer Square ($1,900) were the next priciest areas.

The least expensive rentals, priced at less than $1,000 a month for one bedroom units, could be found in Rainier Beach, Holly Park, and Riverview.
