Seattle Metro Report: September 2019

The Zumper Seattle Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in August 2019 across 14 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Washington one bedroom median rent was $1,323 last month.

–Bellevue was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $2,020.

–Redmond rent was up 4.8% last month to $1,950 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Kirkland was third with rent priced at $1,920.

-Oak Harbor ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $1,000.

–Bellingham was second with rent at $1,080.

-Bremerton ranked as third with rent up 4.3% to $1,200.

–Olympia had the fastest growing rent, up 13.3% since this time last year.

–Renton saw rent climb 13.1%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Bremerton was third with rent growing 9.1%

–Lynnwood rent jumped 5.0% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

–Olympia ranked as third with rent up 4.9%.
