Seattle Metro Report: November 2019

The Zumper Seattle Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in October 2019 across 20 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Washington one bedroom median rent was $1,304 last month.

–Kirkland was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $2,000.

–Redmond rent fell 3% to $1,950 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Bellevue was third with rent priced at $1,910.

–Port Angeles ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $590.

–Oak Harbor was second with rent at $980.

–Bellingham ranked as third with rent staying flat at $1,090.

–Tukwila had the fastest growing rent again, up 15.7% since this time last year.

–Olympia saw rent climb 15.1%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Port Angeles was third with rent growing 11.3%.

–Port Angeles had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 5.4%.

–Tacoma rent jumped 4.1% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

–Shoreline ranked as third with rent up 2.2%.
