The Zumper Seattle Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in December 2019 across 24 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Washington one bedroom median rent was $1,296 last month.

–Kirkland was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $2,090.
–Bellevue rent grew 2.6% to $1,990 and ranked as the second priciest city.
–Redmond was third with rent at $1,950.

–Port Angeles ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms staying flat at $610.
–Wenatchee was second with rent at $900.
–Oak Harbor saw rent drop 1% to $950 but stay the third least expensive city.

–Port Angeles had the fastest growing rent, up 15.1% since this time last year.
–Kirkland saw rent climb 13.6%, making it the second fastest growing.
–Bramerton was third with rent increasing 12.7%.

–Olympia & Bellevue rents tied for third, both climbing 2.6%.
