San Diego Metro Report: November 2017

The Zumper San Diego Metro Report analyzed active listings in October across 15 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The California state median was $1,663 last month.

Le plus cher

Coronado, CA rent, similar to last month’s report, saw a nearly 5% decrease and now has one bedrooms priced at $3,290. This city still continued to rank as the most expensive in the metro by over $800.

Solana Beach, CA ranked as second with rent growing 4.8% to $2,410.

Carlsbad, CA was third with one bedrooms price at $1,840.

El Cajon, CA dropped two spots to become the most affordable city in the metro with rent at $1,250.

Imperial Beach, CA remained the second least expensive city at $1,290.

National City, CA rent climbed 4.8%, settling at $1,310, and two spots to rank as third most affordable.

Escondido, CA had the second largest yearly rental growth rate, climbing 11.8%.

La Mesa, CA was third with rent growing 10.9%.

Solana Beach & National City, CA were tied for second with prices climbing 4.8% since last month.
