Cities Ranked By Rent
The Most Expensive
–Coronado, CA continued to rank as the most expensive city with rent at $2,630.
–Solana Beach, CA rent dropped $30 to $2,450 but remained the second priciest in the metro.
–Carlsbad, CA was third with rent at $1,900.
The Least Expensive
–El Cajon, CA saw rent increase $30 to $1,300 but remained the most affordable city.
–National City, CA remained one of the bottom 3 markets, ranking as the second least expensive city with rent decreasing $70 to $1,360.
–Escondido & Lemon Grove, CA tied for third (again) with one bedrooms both still priced at $1,390.
Growth Rate
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–National City, CA rent had the largest year over year growth rate, climbing 14.5%.
–Imperial Beach, CA had the second fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 13.8%.
–Santee, CA rounded out the top three with rent growing 9.4%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Imperial Beach, CA rent was the fastest growing last month, up 2.8%.
–Oceanside, CA rent jumped 2.5% last month, making it the second fastest growing.
