The Zumper Salt Lake City Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in November 2019 across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Utah one bedroom median rent was $948 last month.

–Sandy was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,150.

–Salt Lake City rent grew 0.9% to $1,100 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Orem was third with rent priced at an even $1,000.

–Cedar City ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $550.

–Ogden was second with rent at $750.

–Provo ranked as third with rent climbing 5.3% to $790.

–Cedar City had the fastest growing rent, up 14.6% since this time last year.

–Ogden saw rent climb 7.1%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Millcreek was third with rent jumping 5.6%.
