The Zumper Salt Lake City Metro Report analyzed active listings in November across 10 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Utah state median rent was $845 last month.
Cities Ranked By Rent
Le plus cher
–Midvale, UT rent remained at $1,050 and also as the most expensive in the metro.
–Sandy, UT outpaced South Jordan to become the second priciest city with one bedrooms priced at an even $1,000.
–South Jordan, UT fell one spot to rank as third with rent at $990.
Le moins cher
– South Salt Lake & Millcreek, UT tied with prices both at $780, making them the most affordable in the metro.
–West Valley City, UT rent climbed $40 last month, settling at $810, and up one spot to rank as second least expensive.
–Murray, UT ranked as third with rent priced at $830.

–South Salt Lake, UT had the largest yearly rental growth rate, up 10.7%.
–Taylorsville, UT rent was the second fastest growing, climbing 9% since this time last year.
