Ranking ahead of Buffalo, Chesapeake, and Las Vegas, Phoenix ranked as the 50th most expensive city in the nation with one and two bedroom rents priced at $1,000 and $1,250, respectively.

While Central City had the fastest growing rent since last quarter, up over 14%, Paradise Valley took the largest rent dip, down nearly 10%.
This summer, Paradise Valley, Desert View, and Camelback East were the most expensive neighborhoods, all with rents priced between $1,100 and $1,400. Mid-range priced rentals closer to the city one bedroom median of $1,000 could be found in Deer Valley and New Village.
Meanwhile, the most affordable areas were Estrella ($700) and Maryvale ($760).
