Phoenix Metro Report: November 2019

The Zumper Phoenix Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in October 2019 across 15 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Arizona one bedroom median rent was $992 last month.

The Most Expensive

–Fountain Hills was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,800.

–Scottsdale rent grew 0.7% to $1,410 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Flagstaff was third with rent priced at $1,320.

The Least Expensive

–Prescott ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $830.

–Glendale was second with rent at $870.

–Mesa ranked as third with rent up 1.1% to $910.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

–Prescott had the fastest growing rent, up 15.3% since this time last year.

–Bullhead City saw rent climb 15.2%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Gilbert was third with rent growing 14.7%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

–Lake Havasu City had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 5.2%.

–Flagstaff rent jumped 4.8% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

–Tempe ranked as third with rent up 4.7%.
