The Zumper Phoenix Metro Report analyzed active listings in October across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Arizona one bedroom median was $922 last month.

Scottsdale, AZ remained the priciest city in the metro with one bedrooms priced at $1,310.

Chandler, AZ was second with rent at $1,120.

Gilbert, AZ one bedroom rent was $1,090, making it third.

The Least Expensive

Glendale, AZ continued to rank as the most affordable city with rent at $760.

Mesa, AZ was second with rent at $860.

Avondale, AZ one bedroom rent was the third least expensive at $930.

Tempe, AZ had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 15.6%.

Glendale, AZ one bedroom rent had the second largest year over year growth rate, climbing 13.4%.

Chandler, AZ was third with rent jumping 12%.
