Cities Ranked By Rent
Most Expensive
– Peoria, AZ had the most expensive rent in the Phoenix metro area this month at $950.
– Goodyear, AZ saw one bedroom prices go up to $900, making it the second priciest city in this metro.
– Tempe, AZ tied for second with one bedroom apartments also going for $900.
Least Expensive
– Casa Grande, AZ was the most affordable city to rent in the metro area. Rent for one bedroom units was priced at $580.
– Phoenix, Arizona ranked as the second least expensive city, but was considerably more expensive at $840.
– Avondale, AZ followed very closely behind. Median rent in Avondale was $850 this month.
Yearly Growth Rate
Fastest Growing
– Tempe, AZ had the fastest growing rents in the Phoenix metro area. One bedroom rents were up 15% since this time last year.
– Peoria, AZ also experienced fast growth. Its apartment prices were 10.5% higher this month than where they were 12 months ago.
– Phoenix, Arizona ranked third in growth rate at 7.7%.
