Phoenix Metro Report: August 2018

The Zumper Phoenix Metro Report analyzed active listings in July across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Arizona one bedroom median was $927 last month.

The Most Expensive

Scottsdale, AZ remained the most expensive city with rent growing $10 to $1,250.

Gilbert, AZ was second with one bedrooms priced at $1,080.

Tempe, AZ followed closely behind as third with rent at $1,070.

The Least Expensive

Glendale, AZ saw rent climb $20 to $770 but continued to rank as the most affordable in the metro.

Mesa, AZ  ranked as second with rent at $900.

Avondale, AZ stayed the third least expensive city with rent at $920.

Growth Rate

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

Glendale, AZ had the fastest growing rent, climbing 13.2% since this time last year.

Tempe, AZ rent jumped 12.6%, making it second.

Phoenix, Arizona had the third largest year over year rental growth rate, up 11.5%.PHXAug
