Cities Ranked By Rent
Most Expensive
– Scottsdale, AZ topped the list as the most expensive city to rent in the metro area with one bedrooms priced at a median of $1,260.
– Gilbert, AZ took second place with a median rent of $1,010.
– Chandler, AZ ranked third with rent at $950.
Least Expensive
– Casa Grande, AZ, once again, was the most affordable city in the Phoenix metro area. Median rent here was $550.
– Glendale, AZ was the second least expensive city at $700.
– Mesa, AZ followed closely behind as third with rent at $790.
Yearly Growth Rate
Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
– Tempe, AZ continued to have fast growth in rent as prices were up 15% compared to last year.
– Scottsdale, AZ had the second fastest year over year growth at 14.5% .
– Avondale, AZ rent was the third fastest growing, climbing 11.3% since last year.
Fastest Growing (M/M%)
– Scottsdale, AZ also had considerable month over month growth at 5%.
– Avondale, AZ rent was the second fastest growing, climbing 4.7%.
– Phoenix, Arizona prices ranked third, up 3.6% since last month.
