Orlando Metro Report: February 2020

The Zumper Orlando Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in January 2020 across 15 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Florida one bedroom median rent was $1,201 last month.

The Most Expensive

–New Smyrna Beach was the most expensive city with one bedrooms growing 4.8% to $1,300.

–Orlando rent dropped 0.8% to $1,250 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Clermont was third with rent at $1,220.

The Least Expensive

–Ocala ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $850.

–Daytona Beach was second with rent at $850.

–Ormond Beach saw rent drop 5.3% to $900 and rank as the third least expensive.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

–Titusville had the fastest growing rent, up 14.9% since this time last year.

–Port Orange saw rent climb 13.3%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Ormond Beach was third with rent jumping 12.5%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

– Port Orange had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 5.3%.

–New Smyrna Beach jumped 4.8% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

–Sanford ranked as third with rent increasing 4.7%.
