– Portsmouth was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,210.
– Chesapeake rent dropped 4.4% to $1,090 but remained the second priciest city.
-Virginia Beach was third with rent at an even $1,000.

–Newport News continued to rank as the most affordable city with one bedrooms falling 4.5% to $850.
–Hampton was second with rent at $900.
–Norfolk ranked as the third least expensive with rent staying flat at $920.

-Norfolk followed closely behind as second with rent up 9.5%.
