– Chesapeake rent remained at $1,140 and was the second priciest city.
-Virginia Beach was third with rent dropping 5.4% to $1,050.

–Newport News ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $890.
–Hampton was second with rent at $900.
–Norfolk rent grew 2.2% to $920 and was the third least expensive.

–Norfolk saw rent climb 15.0%, making it the second fastest growing.
