The Zumper Minneapolis Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in December 2019 across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Minnesota one bedroom median rent was $1,121 last month.

–Edina was the most expensive city with with rent priced at $1,510.
–Minneapolis saw rent grow 0.7% to $1,390 and rank as the second priciest market.
–St. Louis Park was third with rent at $1,360.

–Roseville rent fell 2.8% to $1,040 and ranked as the most affordable city.
–Maplewood was second with rent at $1,130.
–Maple Grove ranked as third with one bedrooms priced at $1,150.

–Maplewood had the fastest growing rent, up 15.3% since this time last year.
–St. Paul saw rent climb 15.1%, making it second.
