The Zumper Minneapolis Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in November 2019 across 7 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Minnesota one bedroom median rent was $1,119 last month.

–Minneapolis was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,380.

–St Louis Park rent grew 5.4% to $1,370 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Eden Prairie was third with rent at $1,280.

–Roseville ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $1,070.

–St Paul was second with rent at $1,230.

–Bloomington rent dropped 0.8% to $1,240 and ranked as the third least expensive.

–St. Paul had the fastest growing rent, up 16.0% since this time last year.

–Plymouth saw rent climb 5.0%, making it the second fastest growing.
