Miami rounded out the top 10 markets as the 10th most expensive city to rent, according to our most recent national rent report. Last month, one bedroom rent fell 1.1% to $1,780, while two bedrooms dropped 4.8% to $2,380. Year over year prices for both bedroom types are flat as well.
While West Little River and Southeast Gables had the fastest growing rent last quarter, both up over 12%, Sunrise Point and Country Club Section saw the biggest rent dips, both down around 9%.
Fisher Island rent grew to $6,500, holding onto its ranking as the most expensive on our map. Park West ($2,350) and Village of Key Biscayne ($2,250) were the next priciest areas, followed closely by Beach View, Brickell, and City Center, which were all tied at $2,200.
More affordable rentals priced closer to the city’s one bedroom median price of $1,780 could be found in Southwest Coconut Grove, Coral Way, and Upper East Side.
Meanwhile, the least expensive areas were Pinewood Park and Brownsville.
