The Zumper Miami Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in August 2019 across 30 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Florida one bedroom median rent was $1,218 last month.

–Sunny Isles Beach was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,820.
–Miami rent was down 1.1% last month to $1,760 and ranked as the second priciest city.
–Coral Gables was third with rent priced at $1,750.

-Homestead ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $990.
–Lake Worth was second with rent at $1,070.
-Lauderhill ranked as third with rent up 1.9% last month to $1,080.

–Miami Gardens had the fastest growing rent, up 14.3% since this time last year.
–Fort Lauderdale saw rent climb 8.8%, making it the second fastest growing.
–Lauderhill was third with rent growing 8.0%.

–Deerfield Beach rent jumped 2.9% last month, making it the second fastest growing.
–Weston ranked as third with rent up 2.6%.
