Miami Metro Report: January 2020

The Zumper Miami Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in December 2019 across 30 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Florida one bedroom median rent was $1,193 last month.

–Sunny Isles Beach was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,810.

–Coral Gables moved ahead of Miami to rank as the second priciest city with one bedroom rent growing 2.9% to $1,750.

–Miami dropped to third with rent at $1,740.

–Homestead remained the most affordable city, though one bedroom rent grew 4.8% $1,090.

–Lauderhill was second with rent staying at $1,100.

–Miami Gardens continued to rank as third with rent at $1,110.

–Homestead had the fastest growing rent, up 16.0% since this time last year.

–Sunny Isles Beach saw rent climb 9.7%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Weston was third with rent jumping 6.7%.

–Pompano Beach rent increased 4.0% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

-Davie followed closely behind as third with rent climbing 3.7%.
