Mapping Seattle Rent Prices This Summer (July 2016)

Seattle was the 10th most expensive rental market in the nation this month, with the price of one bedroom units at a median of $1,770 and two bedroom units at $2,400. Although rent prices were fairly stable, both one and two bedroom units are up around 10% since this time last year.

Almost breaking the $2,400 threshold, Central Business District ($2,390) was the most expensive neighborhood to rent this summer. Pike Place Market ($2,220), Belltown ($2,110), and South Lake Union ($1,860) were the next priciest areas. Mid range priced rentals, in the $1,300-$1,500 threshold, could be found in and around Mann, North Queen Anne, and Briarcliff.
