Mapping San Diego Rent Prices This Fall (October 2016)

Coming ahead of Fort Lauderdale, Providence, and Philadelphia, San Diego ranked as the 12th most expensive rental market in the U.S this month. The price of one bedroom units grew 2.6% to a median of $1,580, while two bedrooms jumped 3.8% to $2,200.

While Coronado ($2,700), East Village ($2,275), and Marina ($2,200) continued to be the most expensive rental areas this fall, other notably pricy areas included Cortez ($2,000), Mission Valley West ($1,800), and Mission Valley East ($1,695) as well.
On the other end of the cost spectrum, the most affordable San Diego neighborhoods were Emerald Hills, Fairmont Village, and Ridgeview – Webster.
