Mapping San Diego Rent Prices (2016)

With rent prices fairly stable last month, San Diego remained the 11th most expensive rental market in the nation. One bedroom units increased 2% to a median of $1,510, while two bedroom units dropped 2.4% to $2,020.

The most expensive San Diego neighborhoods this spring, fluctuating in the high to low $2,000’s, were Coronado ($2,800), East Village ($2,260), Marina ($2,200), and Little Italy ($2,060). More affordable options, especially in the southeast portion of the city, included Fairmont Village, Islenair, and Ridgeview – Webster.
