Atlanta was the 14th most expensive rental market in the nation this spring, with one bedroom median prices hovering at $1,260, and two bedrooms at $1,560. Although prices were fairly flat through April, Atlanta was more expensive than Baltimore, Minneapolis, and Denver in our most recent national rent report.

The most expensive areas to rent this spring included South Tuxedo Park ($1,785), Peachtree Heights West ($1,650), and North Buckhead ($1,650). Moving south, Inman Park ($1,600) and Midtown ($1,550) were notably pricy areas as well. More affordable neighborhoods below $1,000 could be found in and around Grove Park, Bankhead, and Hunter Hills.
