Miami was the 8th most expensive city to rent in the U.S. this month, coming ahead of Honolulu, Seattle, and Chicago. The price of one bedroom units rose 2.7% to a median of $1,900, while two bedroom units increased 1.6% to $2,590.

This summer, Fisher Island, at a median of $4,600 for one bedroom units, continued to be the most expensive neighborhood to rent in Miami. Park West ($2,600), Venetian Islands ($2,550), and Village of Key Biscayne ($2,450) were the next priciest areas. Mid ranged priced rentals, ranging from $1,200-$1,500, could be found in and around Melrose Heights, Hammock Oaks, and Normandy Isles.
