Mapping Atlanta Rent Prices This Summer (August 2016)

Atlanta ranked as the 17th most expensive rental market in the nation this month, with one bedroom units priced at a median of $1,300, and two bedroom units at $1,650. Although rent prices were fairly flat this period, Atlanta still came ahead of New Orleans, Dallas, and Minneapolis in our most recent list of rent prices across the U.S.

At a median of $1,800 a month for one bedroom units, South Tuxedo Park was the most expensive neighborhood to rent this summer. The next priciest areas, ranging between $1,600-$1,700, were Peachtree Heights West, Midtown, and North Buckhead. More affordable options, priced around $1,100 a month for one bedroom units, could be found in and around Vine City, Candler Park, and Collier Hills.
