Cities Ranked By Rent
The Most Expensive
–Santa Monica, CA rent grew to $3,350 last month, holding onto its position as the most expensive in the metro.
–Pasadena, CA, substantially less expensive than Santa Monica, ranked as the second most expensive city with rent at $2,190.
–Los Angeles, Californie was third with one bedrooms priced at $2,160.
The Least Expensive
–Palmdale, CA rent, though the fastest growing in the metro last month, remained the most affordable by far at $760.
–Pomona, CA followed suit as the second priciest city with rent at $1,260.
–Bellflower, CA barely inched out Pomona with rent at $1,270.
Growth Rate
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–West Covina, CA rent had the largest yearly growth rate in the metro, up 15.4%.
–Burbank, CA followed closely behind as second with rent climbing 15.3% since this time last year.
–Norwalk, CA was third with rent up 14.2%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Palmdale, CA had the fastest growing rent since last month, up a whopping 5.6%.
–Santa Clarita & Culver City, CA tied for second with rents climbing 5.2% since last month.
–Santa Monica, CA rent was the third fastest growing, up 4.7%.
