Cities Ranked By Rent
Most Expensive
–Santa Monica, CA was the most expensive city to rent in the Los Angeles metro area with a median price of $2,910 for one bedroom units. Rent here was over $1,200 more expensive than the $1,642 state median.
–Pasadena, CA, a few hundred dollars behind Santa Monica, ranked as the second priciest city. Rent here was $2,130.
–Los Angeles, Californie ranked as the third most expensive city with rent at $2,060.
Least Expensive
–Compton, CA was the most affordable city with rent priced at $1,090.
–Lynwood, CA followed behind as the second least expensive city. Rent here was $1,170.
–Pomona, CA ranked as third at $1,220.

Fastest Growing
–Lakewood & Hawthorne, CA rents were tied for the fastest growing, both with the price of one bedroom units up 15.3% since this time last year.
–Alhambra, CA followed closely behind with a 15.2% yearly growth rate.
–West Covina, CA had the third fastest growing rents in the metro area, up 15.1%.
