Detroit Metro Report: December 2018

The Zumper Detroit Metro Report analyzed active listings in November across 10 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Michigan state median one bedroom rent was $814 last month.

Novi, MI rent grew $30 to $1,190 and continued to reign as the most expensive in the metro.

Dearborn, MI was second with rent at $1,110.

Troy, MI followed closely behind as third with rent growing $50 to $1,050.

Detroit, MI rent grew $20 to $600 but remained the most affordable in the metro.

Pontiac, MI ranked as second with rent at $630.

Taylor, MI saw rent grow $30 to $670 but stayed the third least expensive city.
