The Zumper Denver Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in August 2019 across 14 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Colorado one bedroom median rent was $1,272 last month.

The Most Expensive
–Boulder was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,640.
–Broomfield rent was up 1.3% last month to $1,610 and ranked as the second priciest city.
–Denver was third with rent priced at $1,600.
The Least Expensive
-Greeley ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $900.
–Fort Collins was second with rent at $1,050.
-Aurora ranked as third with rent down 5.0% to $1,130.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Greeley had the fastest growing rent, up 12.5% since this time last year.
–Englewood saw rent climb 11.9%, making it the second fastest growing.
–Broomfield was third with rent growing 7.3%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Westminster had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 5.3%.
–Boulder rent jumped 5.1% last month, making it the second fastest growing.
–Greeley ranked as third with rent up 3.4%.
