The Zumper Denver Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in September 2019 across 16 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Colorado one bedroom median rent was $1,271 last month.

The Most Expensive
–Boulder was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,700.
–Denver rent dropped 1.3% last month to $1,580 and ranked as the second priciest city.
–Broomfield was third with rent priced at $1,540.
The Least Expensive
–Greeley ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $890.
–Fort Collins was second with rent at $1,070.
–Aurora ranked as third with rent down 4.4% to $1,080.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Wheat Ridge had the fastest growing rent, up 15.2% since this time last year.
–Arvada saw rent climb 10.0%, making it the second fastest growing.
–Englewood was third with rent growing 9.5%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Arvada had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 5.2%.
–Wheat Ridge rent jumped 4.6% last month, making it the second fastest growing.
–Boulder ranked as third with rent up 3.7%.
