The Zumper Denver Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in October 2019 across 19 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Colorado one bedroom median rent was $1,292 last month.

–Boulder was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,790.

–Denver rent grew 1.3% to $1,600 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Lafayette was third with rent priced at $1,550.

–Greeley ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $880.

–Aurora was second with rent at $1,100.

–Fort Collins ranked as third with rent up 4.7% to $1,120.

–Wheat Ridge had the fastest growing rent, up 15.2% since this time last year.

–Lafayette saw rent climb 14.8%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Arvada was third with rent growing 13.4%.

–Arvada rent jumped 5.0% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

–Lakewood ranked as third with rent up 4.9%.
