Denver Metro Report: March 2019

The Zumper Denver Metro Report analyzed active listings in February 2019 across 12 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Colorado state median rent was $1,258 last month.

Cities Ranked By Rent

The Most Expensive

Centennial & Denver, Colorado tied for the most expensive city with rents both at $1,510.

Broomfield Littleton, CO rents tied for the third priciest with one bedrooms both at $1,490.

Lakewood, CO rounded out the top markets with rent at $1,400.

The Least Expensive

Aurora, CO moved down a spot to rank as the most affordable city in the metro with one bedrooms priced at $1,190.

Northglenn, CO also dropped one position to become the second least expensive with rent at $1,210.

Arvada, CO saw rent climb $60, settling at $1,240, and up 2 positions to rank as third.

Growth Rate

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

Arvada, CO had the fastest growing rent, up 15.9% since this time last year.

Thornton, CO rent jumped 11.9%, making it second.

Castle Rock, CO was third with rent climbing 10.3%.
