The Zumper Denver Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in December 2019 across 19 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Colorado one bedroom median rent was $1,276 last month.

The Most Expensive
–Boulder was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,800.
–Denver rent grew 1.3% to $1,540 and ranked as the second priciest.
– Centennial was third with rent at $1,510.
The Least Expensive
–Greeley ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $830.
–Aurora was second with rent at $1,100.
–Wheat Ridge followed closely behind as third with rent at $1,110.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Arvada had the fastest growing rent, up 15.2% since this time last year.
–Lafayette saw rent climb 6.5%, making it the second fastest growing.
–Westminster was third with rent jumping 5.3%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Fort Collins had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 5.1%.
–Arvada and Thornton rent both climbed 5.0% last month, making them tied for second fastest growing.
–Loveland ranked as third with rent increasing 1.6%.
