Denver Metro Report: February 2020

The Zumper Denver Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in January 2020 across 19 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Colorado one bedroom median rent was $1,269 last month.

The Most Expensive

–Boulder was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,710.

–Denver rent dropped 1.9% to $1,510 and ranked as the second priciest city.

– Centennial was third with rent at $1,430.

The Least Expensive

–Laramie ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $750.

–Greeley was second with rent at $870.

–Wheat Ridge ranked as the third least expensive with rent at $1,070.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

–Laramie had the fastest growing rent, up 15.4% since this time last year.

–Arvada saw rent climb 9.3%, making it the second fastest growing.

–Greeley was third with rent increasing 6.1%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

–Littleton had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 4.2%.

–Lakewood rent jumped 4.1% last month, making them the second.

–Castle Rock ranked as third with rent increasing 1.4%.
