Denver Metro Report: February 2018

The Zumper Denver Metro Report analyzed active listings in January across 12 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Colorado state median rent was $1,235 last month.

The Most Expensive

Broomfield, CO outpaced Denver to rank as the most expensive city in the metro with rent growing to $1,460.

Centennial, CO also outpaced Denver to rank as second with one bedrooms priced at $1,440.

Denver, Colorado dropped 2 spots to become the third priciest city with rent at $1,390.

The Least Expensive

Arvada, CO was the most affordable city in the metro with rent at $1,020.

Aurora, CO followed closely behind as second with one bedrooms priced at $1,030.

Northglenn, CO ranked as third with rent at $1,070.

Growth Rate

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

Lakewood, CO had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 15.5%.

Parker, CO rent climbed 15%, making it second.

Castle Rock, CO was third with rent jumping 14.4%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

Westminster, CO rent had the largest monthly growth rate, up 5.1%.

Castle Rock, CO followed closely behind as second with rent growing 5%.

Broomfield & Centennial, CO tied for third with rents climbing 4.3%.
