Dallas Metro Report: November 2019

The Zumper Dallas Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in October 2019 across 20 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Texas one bedroom median rent was $961 last month.

The Most Expensive

–Frisco was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,290.

–Farmers Branch rent grew 5.0% to $1,260 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Grapevine was third with rent priced at $1,230.

The Least Expensive

–Bedford ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $860.

–Mequite was second with rent at $880.

–Arlington ranked as third with rent staying flat at $900.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

–Grand Prairie had the fastest growing rent, up 15.3% since this time last year.

–Arlington saw rent climb 12.5%, making it the second fastest growing.

– Garland was third with rent growing 11.1%

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

–Farmers Branch had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 5.0%.

–Denton rent jumped 4.6% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

–Mansfield and Allen tied as third with rents both up 1.8%.
