Dallas Metro Report: February 2018

The Zumper Dallas Metro Report analyzed active listings in January across 14 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Texas state median rent was $913 last month.

The Most Expensive

Dallas, Texas rent grew $10 to $1,300 and remained the priciest in the metro.

Richardson, TX continued to rank as the second most expensive with rent at $1,200.

Irving, TX prices dropped $10 to $1,160 and continued to rank as the third priciest.

The Least Expensive

Arlington, TX was the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $720.

Mesquite, TX followed closely behind as second with rent at $760.

DentonGrand Prairie, TX tied for third with prices at $830.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

Grand Prairie, TX had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 15.3%.

Mesquite, TX saw rent climb 15.2%, making it the second fastest growing.
