Dallas Metro Report: December 2019

The Zumper Dallas Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in November 2019 across 19 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Texas one bedroom median rent was $944 last month.

–Farmers Branch was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,320.

–Frisco rent down dropped 0.8% to $1,280 and ranked as the second priciest city.

–Richardson was third with rent at $1,210.

–Bedford ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $840.

–Mequite and Arlington were tied for second with rents both at $870.

–Denton ranked as third with rent down 1.1% to $900.

–Grand Prairie had the fastest growing rent, up 9.7% since this time last year.

–Plano saw rent climb 6.3%, making it the second fastest growing.

– Arlington was third with rent up 6.1%.

–Grand Prairie rent jumped 4.1% last month, making it the second fastest growing.

–Mansfield ranked as third with rent climbing 3.6%.
